One of those 'we have an important announcement to make about the future' (i.e. here comes a reorganisation) moments at work today. For me, no matter what happens there, life goes on.

Going home in the rain after 'the' meeting, the city was busily reminding me that everything carries on pretty much as usual no matter what small dramas occur in each of our lives.

A doorway here or there
Wherever there's a sheltered spot
You'll find the smokers' lair.
